Constructive alignment is non-negotiable. Write your learning outcomes, then check whether they're observable, assessable, and pitched at the right level.

How to use it
- Write each outcome, then check it against verb precision, observability, level, and alignment. A vague outcome can't be assessed, and an outcome that can't be assessed can't be defended. For each test, answer yes/no and note the outcome you're checking it against. Vague verbs are the commonest failure: 'understand' and 'know' can't be observed or assessed.
