Terms of Sale

Last updated: 22 October 2026.

These terms govern everything you buy from cognitionblueprint.com. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them before you buy — particularly the section on cancelling.

Who you are buying from

Academic Method Limited, 37A Gynn Lane, Honley, HD9 6LF, United Kingdom, trading as Cognition Blueprint. Contact: hello@cognitionblueprint.com for orders and courses; legal@academicmethod.com for cancellations and legal matters.

What we sell

Online courses, and digital publications such as ebooks. Everything we sell is digital. Nothing is posted to you; there is nothing to return.

A course gives you access to its lessons, its workbooks and its interactive material through your account on this site. A digital publication gives you a file to download and keep.

Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are the price you pay at checkout. Academic Method Limited is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to them.

The Cinematic Curriculum Method is sold at Founders’ Deal prices that rise in steps: £150 until 1 December 2026, £199 until 1 January 2027, £229 until 28 March 2027 and £259 until 1 June 2027. From then the course is £300. These are founder prices, not a temporary sale: a price does not return once its step ends.

We may change prices at any time. A change never affects an order already placed, and it never affects access you have already bought.

Placing an order

Adding an item and paying is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm your order by email and your access or download is made available. If we cannot fulfil an order we will tell you and refund you in full.

If a price or description is obviously wrong, we may decline the order and refund you rather than honour the error.

Paying

Payments are taken by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe’s own checkout page. We never see or hold your card number. Discount codes, where we issue them, are applied at checkout.

Your order is complete when Stripe confirms the payment to us. If that confirmation does not arrive, access is not granted — contact us and we will sort it out.

Your account and your access

Buying creates an account for you if you do not already have one, using the email address you paid with. We email you an invitation to set your own password. Keep your login details to yourself: your account is for one person.

Course access has no end date. We intend to keep the courses you have bought available to you indefinitely, and we will give you at least 90 days’ notice, by email, if a course is ever to be withdrawn — long enough to download what you want to keep.

We may update, improve or reorganise course material at any time. Updates to a course you own are included at no extra cost.

Downloads

A downloadable purchase gives you a private download link tied to your order. That link expires, and it allows a limited number of downloads — the limit is shown on the product page. Save the file somewhere safe when you download it. If a link expires before you have managed to use it, email us and we will issue a new one.

Cancelling, and refunds

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel any order and get a full refund. You do not have to give a reason. This applies whether or not you have started the course or downloaded the file.

To cancel, email legal@academicmethod.com from the address you bought with and say you want to cancel. We will refund the full amount to the card you paid with within 14 days of receiving your request, and your access will end.

Beyond 14 days we do not offer refunds as a matter of course. If something is wrong with what you bought — it does not work, it is not what was described, or it is not of satisfactory quality — your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply regardless of anything in these terms, and we will put it right, replace it or refund you. Nothing here limits your legal rights.

What you may and may not do with what you buy

What you buy is licensed to you, not sold. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own learning and your own professional practice — including applying the methods to courses you design and teach yourself. That is what it is for.

You may not share your login, redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish the material, upload it to any other platform, or use it to train a machine-learning model. Course material, workbooks, software, text and design remain the property of Academic Method Limited.

Anything you write in the lessons — your notes, your workbook answers, your own course plans — is yours. We claim no rights over it.

The AI features

Courses include an AI tutor and AI feedback on your work. These are teaching aids. They are generated by a language model and can be wrong. Check anything that matters against the course material. AI feedback is not an accredited assessment, and neither feature is professional advice.

Both features carry fair-use limits, shown in the course. What the features send and store is set out in our Privacy Policy.

What we do and do not promise

We are confident in what we teach and we stand behind it. We cannot promise you a particular result, a job, an income, or that any course you build will succeed — that depends on your work, your context and your learners. Any examples or case studies are illustrations, not guarantees.

We aim to keep the site available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Occasional maintenance and outages happen.

Our liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

Otherwise, and because everything we sell is digital course material, our total liability to you for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or any indirect or consequential loss.

These terms are between us and you as a consumer or as a professional buying for your own practice. If you are buying on behalf of an organisation, tell us — different terms may apply.

If something goes wrong

Email hello@cognitionblueprint.com and tell us what has happened. We will reply. Most things are resolved quickly and without formality.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it, so we keep the date at the top current.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.
